Beatrice & Bob of the Bay Area Bid Masters Of San Jose, CA won 2 of 3 games in the preliminary rounds. Then they swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to take the Bicycle Playing Cards Bay Area Bid Whist Championship. This tournament was the Main Event Tournament of The Grand Prix Bid Whist Marathon held May 30th & 31st, 2003. It was the first tournament victory for this team. They also took the 2nd Place Prize at the Friday Night Special Tournament held the night before. Congratulations To Bob & Beatrice. |
