Troy of the D.C. area and Ronnie of Chicago teamed up at the last minute and won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds, they then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs, to win the Oakland Saturday Night Fever Championship. Troy along with his regular partner Sam are the defending National Champions. Sam did not play in Oakland, so Troy teamed up with Ronnie of Chicago and won the 1st Place prize. The Saturday Night Fever Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour Oakland Bid Whist Weekend held October 20-21, 2006.
