Take 1st Place In The
"Saturday Night Fever Tournament"
Linda Christian & Leeshell Montgomery of the Elite Whist
Society Of Detroit won the 1st place prize in the "Saturday Night Fever
Tournament" held at That Cleveland Grand Prix Marathon on June 22, 2002. This is the
first time Linda & Leeshell have played in our National Grand Prix Series, and they
did outstanding.
In the 3 tournaments held this day
they won 1st place in this tournament, and the 2nd Place prize in the Saturday Main Event Tournament" and
they won the 3rd Place Prize in the "Saturday
Afternoon Matinee Tournament." This fine team finished in the money in
all 3 tournaments held this Saturday. Congratulations To Linda & Leeshell.

WIN 2ND PLACE!
Marlon Daniel & Peter Foga of
the
New
York Whist Lovers, swept their way into the Sweet 16 Playoffs until they
lost to Linda & Leeshell. Marlon & Peter also took 1st Place in the "Friday Night Special Tournament"
held the previous night. Congratulations to Marlon & Peter.
